Scheduled Trout Stocking in the Lower Mainland

To coincide with spring break, the Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery will be conducting trout stockings at some of the lakes in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley this week. All fish released are Fraser Valley rainbow trout, catchable size at 210 grams.

These fish are easy to catch on the fly, lure or bait. A small, slow retrieved spinner rarely fails while shrimp or PowerBait used under a small float can provide an action-packed outing.

Please remember:

• Daily quota is 4 fish per person.
• You are only allowed to use one fishing rod from shore, or two from a boat if you are alone in the boat.
• Be sure to carry a valid BC freshwater fishing licence.
