TWO GREAT LOCATIONS, ONE INCREDIBLE SHOW!
BC PLACE STADIUM & FALSE CREEK YACHT CLUB
FEBRUARY 7-11, 2007
Vancouver, B.C. - The season starts here! For British Columbia's
boating fans, the 46th annual Vancouver International Boat Show
(VIBS) signals the start of the boating season. This "one-stop-shop"
is the largest boat show in Western Canada with over 300 exhibitors
and the latest and greatest in kayaks, canoes, gear and boats for
every budget from inflatables to luxury motoryachts. See and board
the biggest boats at the show and an exciting selection of sailboats
at the expanded in-water venue at False Creek Yacht Club with more
dock space and boats than ever!
Wakeboarding fans will not want to miss the 2007 Vancouver International
Boat Show's feature attraction - Rail Jam. Rail Jam brings the incredible
action of wakeboarding indoors with a very hip mix of North America's
top wakeboarders, a state-of-the-art sound system, an announcer
and a big winch that pulls wakeboarders along a rail from one pool
to another. Watch these gifted athletes "backside lip slide"
and "50/50 slide" at an up close-and-personal distance.
Hang around afterwards for an opportunity to meet the wakeboarders.
Make sure you visit the brand new Discover Boating Centre, which
has been completely redesigned for 2007. Whether you are brand new
to the world of boating or looking to upgrade, there is something
for everyone to see, learn and enjoy at the Discover Boating Centre.
If you are planning to buy your first boat, you can speak to experts
in a "sales free" environment who can educate you on all
of the different boat types and the one that is right for you and
your family. Want to know about boating courses, safety information,
boat financing? All of your boating questions can be answered at
the
Discover Boating Centre. Keep the little ones entertained with Discover
Boating Centre's kids activities.
