Title: Bunzten Lake Advice?
Post by: squishy fishy on May 13, 2006, 12:07:02 PM
Hi There

Me and a couple of other rubes from the city would like to rent a canoe to fish Buntzen.

Does anyone out there have any advice on how and where to fish the lake? i.e. flies, trolling with bait?

I understand there are some younger experts out there  ;)

Thanks, much appreciated.

you can read my reports, or heres some advice, I have been having success and full sink line usuing olive wooly buggers and half back. The point at the right side and the other side of the lake have been producing for me.

green flies, and a red wedding band works

They work well to but if you want lots, use half backs and wollybuggers.

I find if your varie your speed. If your trolling slow and havent gotta a bite then try going faster, same as if your trlloing fast and have not got a bite..go slower.
