The City of Surrey has once again started its plans to expand 84th avenue thru to King George Hwy. They will rip out trees, and plow thru the south end park, thru what is a Hydro right of way.
Bear Creek is a salmon spawning creek, and we all know what kind of impact a road going thru there will mean. Its completely unfathomable! I am organizing a petition and protest group. If you can help with the petition, or anything else, please contact me at savethepark2007@gmail.com
I would like to try to have as many Surrey residents sign the petition as possible. I will be using an online petition as soon as I figure out the wording for the petition. meanwhile...if anyone is on facebook, join the "Save the Park 2007" group.
