Title: Mouth of the Cap May 31st, 2007
Post by: Yofishon on May 31, 2007, 12:01:29 AM
Took a little trip to the mouth of the Cap-Ambleside  tonite , for a couple of hours-mostly to sort out gear and get primed for the season. Not much happening at high tide and nothing rising yet-exceptin' for a HUGE full moon, lots of sun and a great western red sky. Can't lose , even with no hits.

Does anybody know how to access the mouth of Cypress creek-West Van-ie-where to park legally , and access the wader fishing area ? I bet that would be great  , on a sunny nite  too. Also , does anybody know a good place to buy stainless steel spinners , relatively cheap?

Rodney makes and sells his own spinners. They are relatively cheap.

Yes, silver spinners. I guess that I could give Walmart a try-failing that  , maybe Army + Navy overtown. What does one look for in a good, small spinner for river mouth fishing ,other than silver ? Thanks !?
