My bro and I hit the salt water early Saturday morning, launching by the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal. After batting zero in English Bay (Pt Grey & Cap) for two weekends in a row a change in scenery was in order. We trolled from Delta Port to Sand Heads catching several dog fish. Around noon, in a clear patch of water, we got a twitch in the rod and then bang, it was on. The 25lb (red) spring made the MR3 scream taking at least two good 100 yard runs. My bro netted and bonked it (with a wrench as I forgot our official club). Inspecting the buck, he had inhaled the anchovy and the hook was well set (too far for pliers to reach). We focused our efforts between 30 to 80ft, green flashers and used only anchovies. We packed it in about a half hour after the big catch as the tide was just ripping at that point.
Cheers,
Justin.

Sorry Michaelt, I'll be taking it to Bamfield though... more "trophy" fish in that water.
