Title: Sept. 2 Garry Point Casting Practice
Post by: Johnny_5 on September 02, 2007, 12:00:14 PM
Fished the morning high tide from 8-11.  There were 6 people on the first point and 2 on the second, all skunked.  No risers or rollers in the area.  Someday they will show up.

I was there for a bit, I was casting from the fishing pier further down the road and then was sitting on the first point for a bit. I did actually see about five fish jump up right in front of me, they were pretty small and I couldn't get a long enough look at them to identify them however the person I was fishing with said they were pinks.

It was actually casting practice for us because my wife was learning some tips from her friend Will on how to cast correctly while flyfishing

Funny, I was one of the 6 people there that morning and I landed a 5lb that morning at the first point around 7 something am. I caught it on my second cast. Well, that was the one an only. Too bad.

Cheers,
Sandman.

September 4th, 2007.

Pinks did move up.  Friend saw them jumping in schools in Delta.  Didn't know if he caught any.
