Went to Brownsville this am about 5:30, not a lot of action at all, in fact there were only 3 hookups all morning, between maybe 6-8 guys. I was able to nail this little male Pink, seems a little small but vey fresh! The flesh is quite orange for a pink.
Really friendly bunch of guys this morning. While I was bringing in this little guy I had a helpfull netter on each side of me! Could not miss! If your reading this, ... thanks again!
Close up is for you fellas that might want to save a few $ and make your own spinners. #4 ring (2) #3 swivels, #4 Pink Blade and #2 Siwash open-eyed Gamakatsu hook. All in maybe 85 Cents each. I will need to check to make sure of the amount invested.
I would still give it a week for good action.

Nice post CJ. Just wondering, where is Brownsville bar? ???
Thanks in advance.

Good pics, I like the idea of including the lure so we can see what you used. Fire up the bbq!

Click this link , Brownsville parking lot is at the bottom of Old Yale Road. ( Upper left of the window) The fishing spot is between the Skytrain and Pattulo bridge... Good luck!
I know that a bunch of people don't like to share their spots but I remember just how many people on this site have assisted me in finding fish, so I like to "give back" a little... See you out there!

Eagleye, you can also get them at Bob's Sporting Goods on Hastings St in North Bby. Its across the street from the Starbucks / DairyQueen . They have hard to find copper blades too.

Hey I was just wondering if it gets really busy? Is the spot fly fishing friendly?
-
I would say forget about flyfishing til later in the season when the crowd thins out.

Or, thin the crowd out by flyfishing. ;D

Never thought of that option ;D
