Title: Bowen
Post by: freakonaleash on September 02, 2007, 11:15:27 PM
Hit up bowen island today for some fishing. We fished the ocean, none of the local lakes. Running a bar rig with a nitro worm, i brought in a decent sized flounder. It was the ugliest thing i have EVER seen. It swalled a number 2 hook ! I got the hook out and after a minute or so of trying to revive it i figured it was a goner. I tried to pick it up, and then it started flipping, and it swam away again into the water ! Lots of flounders where being caught as well as a few bull heads and a couple other fish, i cant quite think of the name. Overall, bowen seemed like a good place to fish and i had a lot of fun

Ahhh, i honestly can't remember the exact name. It was right by these two long private docks. You go down a fairly steep path the get down to the rocky beach
