Hi Iam in the market for a little bigger boat. Want something between the 16-18ft range. Would like to use it on the fraser and ocean fishing for salmon. I know boats over here are a little pricey do you guys know of any good used boat places on the other side of the border or good places around here? Thanks

Maybe you could PM or e-mail on of these guys on where the best place to get a boat.

I've brought a boat across, its not to hard... Even easier if you buy a trailer in Canada and use it to pick up your boat in the US...
Only problem with buying a boat in the United States is that you can't really inspect it before you go down and buy it. It's kinda a pain to go through all that hassle, when you can usually get a good deal on a boat here in Vancouver using craigslist

hi guys,
not sure if you have been looking on the island's buy & sell, they have great deals there, by buddy and I picked up one there..here's the link...check it out.

Buy my boat and you can take your girlfriend tubing and waterskiing when you are not fishing. I know you are never not fishing.

Much appriciated!

Also, google Boat Trader. I'm been checking out the price of boats myself. Thinking about a Boston Whaler with a power trim so I can go flyfishing for coho on the west coast of the island.
I'm definitely getting my boat out of the States even if it has to come from the east or south coast.
There's some super deals and with the strong Canadian dollar it's the perfect time.

Lots ofboats available if u look. Found mine on Craigslist but also use UsedVictoria.com/ Be careful you want something that is set up as much as possible (not that I am an expert) but I have learned a lot over this last year. Sportsfishingbc is an excellent spot for info.
Where do u plan to fish?

Try this, there are several others that seem to fit. If I had it over, I would have bought a boat with everything included like this one!
