yesterday me and canoeman decided to head out and do some fishing. we headed out at 6:30 in the morning looking for a peaceful day on a river or lake. we drove out and found us a spot on the lower polka we fished for a couple hours with nothing we saw one other guy pull in a chrome coho and lots of chum jumping. we head up to the top of the polka and fished there for an hour or two but to no avail nothing no one was catching anything. we left soon after and headed down to the middle of the river we saw many people snagging chum and booting them back into the water >:(. we went up above the snaggers and started to float fish with roe. a few casts in and my float goes down it i set the hook and immediately know it is not a chum this is something a hell of alot lighter. i get it in and there in front of me is a nice chrome spring jack. i land the fish and put more roe on the hook and cast it out again float goes under again i reel the fish in after a 15-20 minute fight. this time though there is no spring jack but a 15 pound sliver chum. so there is the second fish on the beach for me. we fished for another half hour or so but we could not hook into anything. we left soon after with canoeman a little annoyed at getting skunked (once again) all in all it was a beautiful day out on the river glad we went

If you wish to be secretive why bother posting, seems strange to me but to each their own.

Agree with Pat AV. This one is actually VERY WEIRD, secret spots I can understand, but "secret rivers" is a little too much. ::)

far from the only post here with no mention on the rivers name, though I do apreciate the anonimity ;)
