Started out mid river exploring. Nice water, no people, no fish. Moved to a hole that has produced in the past and second drift through with a bubble gum pink 6" worm, down goes the drennan, fish-on! Brought it to shore and saw it was a small hatchery buck.
When I got back to the car, used my new digital scale and it was 6.3lb cleaned. Cooked it on the bbq, it was delicious.
1 for 2 this year.
