Arrived at the river about half an hour after daylight Friday morning to find what i thought to be perfect conditions, fished the lower boulder for about an hour and a half with no bites whatsoever, but it was awfully pleasant because I only saw one other fisherman. I had some small humbleing experiance with my centerpin that took me close to half an hour to untangle and I was just about ready to call it a day, but remembering last year and getting quite a bit of success at around 11 am I decided to do a half hour walk to a spot upstream I hadn't fished iin yet this year. Sure enough soon as I got there about my fourth cast with my last shrimp tail I hooked this mid teens wild doe. Soon as I saw the dorsal I grabbed my camera out of my pocket and hung it on my left wrist and tried to get a picture every time she sulked and I was able to lift her to the surface got a couple of not too bad photos but it ain't easy by yourself.
