Title: Anyone fished from shore in Jamaica?

I will be going to Jamaica soon for a sales conference(3 hours of workshop in the morning and the rest of the day off). Has anyone attempted fishing from shore and do you need a license before you fish. Should I bring a telescopic rod and maybe some rapala lures?

Well...  no, but this episode of fishing with John (with guest Tom Waits in Jamaica) is pretty funny.  Enjoy.

Yeah Man.  I lived there for a year and can probably help.  Fishing regulations are pretty lax.  What city are you going to be in?

I am 45 minutes away from Montego Bay( Grand Lido Braco Resort ).
