I'd like to fish the upper pitt for coho later in the year - can you rent a boat? and I've never been  there...are the fish pretty well near the where the river meets the mouth or do you have to hike up several kilometers up river

thanks

You'd have trouble renting a boat up there. Pitt lake is extremely dangerous and I know personally of at least 2 people who have died up there. If you do find a way to get up to the top of the lake your best option would be to bring a bike and ride 10-15 Km up river and then hike in.
