im assuming the bass fishing warms up with the weather like in cali, but has anybody had any bass success this year so far? if so when and where thanks
-
Well considering we had snow a few days ago it's not likely many people have been out for Bass.
-
ive been here 3 years and just last fall found out there were bass around here.being a ''bass fisherman'' im surely familiar with theyre habits i was just asking a question. It has obviously been cold lately im not trying to be rude by saying this but im used to have been able to catch a few hundrid bass by this time of year. Now some good news please....

Sheesh Dion, what's with the attitude?
;D ::) ;D ::)
Real news is sometimes bad. :)

Good News? I save hundreds with Geico

Did somebody mention the magic word? BASS. ;D ;D
Have been out a few times this year at the Mill Lake in Abbotsford and Fish Trap Creek, also in Abbotsford. Weather is still a bit cold for largemouth bass and fishing was very sluggish. No bite just listless nibbles.
I am looking forward to head to head to Osoyoos Lake – near the town of Osoyoos sometime later in the spring or in the summer. This is a good lake for large- and smallmout bass. ;)

You would need a good few weeks of very warm weather for the largemouth to become active. I would guess end of july at the earliest. August and September have been the most productive months for me. I was also told that if you are targeting smallmouth (which aren't on the mainland too much) they are active all year round. Can anyone confirm this?

I generally start bass fishing around June.

An obvious or pointless answer to you perhaps, but not to all readers. If you want others to provide you information, then avoid posts such as the above one you just made. Respect other participants on the discussion forum, otherwise you WILL be going else where.
Back to the original topic please.

yea i dont want to get picked on by you and youre moderator any more lololol
tight lines...
p.s. june u say zach?? thanks

if you wait until end of july to get bass you've missed some really good fishing. May - june is usually well warm enough to get them back into active feeding. Slow fished rubber worms with neutral weight (like those power slugs) have worked well for me in the past during this time.
