Title: Edith Lake
Post by: tyeunk on August 18, 2008, 04:47:53 PM
Hey everyone,

I'm planning to head up to Edith Lake this weekend for some trout fishing.

Are you allowed to camp over night around Edith Lake or is it only Alice Lake? Any other tips regarding fishing or camping will be greatly appreciated. I'm quite new to this but very excited.

No camping at Edith or Stump. Alice Lake only. All of the lakes other than Alice are walk in only at this time of the year.

Morning or evening , the day might be too hot. It would perfect right now as its clouded over after a heat wave. If the barometer starts rising then that will be even better for you.

Regular stuff will work, buicks, micro leeches, halfbacks, spratleys. If you are not flying then small crocs ( blue stripe) my friends and I call  that one the "Edith" cuz it worked so well there and dressed spinners like panther martins.

You might want to try Stump lake in the park as well.  ;)

Good Luck ;D

You can camp at Edith just no facilities.
