Title: Condition of Peg leg
Post by: casinoJim on August 31, 2008, 06:22:56 PM
Could anyone comment on the condition and water height? Are they driving through the little creek to get out there or do you have to cross by walking? I would suspect the drive is clear this time of year just wanted to ask.
Thanks
CJ

I don't think Peg will be accessible this year at all. The river came back up some and with the way it's running this year it just doesn't look like it will happen at all.

River channel has changed some and that is why it is on this side now. Most likely because of gravel excavation projects this year. ;D ;D

Was out there yesterday, only a small portion that you can fish without a boat. Boy has it changed!

So which bars are open in that area?  I miss being able to go to the top of Peg leg where you have the whole thing to yourself and swing the Spey.  I need a lot of room so I don't hook someone :D
