Howdy fishers, a couple of question for those who may know.
I broke a st croix rod a few months back. It was a pretty old, but very nice rod.
1. Anyone know if I can warranty a blank?
2. Any shops in vancouver do this? I can't find anyone in cow town to do it (although I heard that one shop does sell them, but they are never open due to the excellent fishing)
Cheers,
Jon

I am in the process of returning 8 St. Croix fly rods for warranty work. If you get your rod to me by tomorrow i'll put it in with ours and you will pay minimal shipping and no service fee.
If not, here's all the information you need....http://stcroixrods.com/content.asp?id=14§ion=about (http://stcroixrods.com/content.asp?id=14§ion=about)

Generous offer, but I am in cow town! I hope you didn't break those 8 rods your self :o So does this mean you work at a fly shop, and if so maybe I will pop in for a chat around xmas.
Cheers,
Jon

I do work at Pacific Angler Fly and Tackle. But this is not for them. The 8 rods belong to me and my friend and most problems are not from the blank breaking.

I just checked their website, and it says I have a lifetime warrenty on the thing... funny that one of their email people told me that its too old to warranty! Bass-turds ::) I'll just mail it to them and get a fresh blank.
PS... you have too many rods.. ;)
