i was thinking of going fishing on thursday and wondering if there are still any chum or coho that arent black out there. should i go to the wack or should i try the chehalis. thanks

It's the tail end of the season. If you're lucky you might catch a chromer.

I havent been seeing any movement out there, but you never know, there might be a chromer sitting infront of yeah.

There are always fish in the Vedder. I wouldn't be surprised if there are Steelhead in the lower river already and there is a late run of fish (small but there) of chromer chum and coho that come in as late as december that we have gotten on roe.
Im gonna start trying for early Steelhead pretty soon here (while mostly exploring for later in the season) so I would say give it a try. The river has changed a bit so it will be good to explore for Steelhead water for when you come back in December.

steelhead will be far and few between and you have just as much chance to hit a fish in the upper. A common belief shared by many believe that just because its the early part of the season, you mush fish down low. not the case however.

Agreed like I said its a great time to get out and explore. Practically no one is out there, and there is laways the chance of getting lucky ;)
