Title: Sunfish?

We where at Mill lake today and we were catching fish that people were calling sunfish. How big do these fish get? A sunfish is not the same as a crappie right?

we used to catch sunfish in minnesota, the average size is about 8 inches and they have a  very colourful stripe down the centre of the body and are an off yellow colour. very tasty on the barbeque.
