Title: Need 2 salmon stamps?
Post by: gcal on October 01, 2009, 02:29:07 AM
Sorry if this was asked before.

If I fish both tidal and non-tidal waters, and have both licences, do I need a salmon stamp on each licence if I intend to keep salmon?

I currently only have a stamp on the tidal licence.

Thanks.

Just to retain salmon if you intend to release all salmon caught you don't need one

just get the stamp.  Its like $7.  Not only is it mandatory if you plan on retaining fish.  But it puts $$$ into fishery programs.  More $$$ equals more enforcement and hatchery production.

I think it's $15 for the non-tidal stamp.
