Title: Fishing in the sun
Post by: deepcovehooker on November 20, 2009, 07:14:23 AM
I am down in Palm Springs for the month of November.  Thru in my spinning gear before I left.  On Wed  headed up to Lake Hemmet which is up in the mountains west of Palm Springs on Hwy 74.

Left my condo about 7:00 am for the one hour drive.  Spent the morning fishing in t-shirt and shorts.  Caught 4 1 ft. rainbows, lost 2 and had a few other hits, using dew worms.  Sat on the lake bank to have lunch and headed back to Palm Springs.  Probably head back up one day next week.
