Title: Chilliwack River, July 25th 2010
Post by: jeff on July 25, 2010, 05:07:55 PM
Well I bought my first fly rod this year and haven't had a lot of chances to use it. I went last weekend and manged to land to little rainbows and lost one other. So went out again today hoping my previous success could be repeated. First cast I lost one and on the retrieve I hooked up again and landed a little guy. I fished for 4 hours landed 6 fish and lost 4 others and two of the fish were about a pound  or so and even got them onto the reel for the fight that was pretty cool. Near the end the action really died off I think it had something to do with all the tubers but of well I had a lot of fun. Now I can see why all you fly guys are just nuts for it, its a lot of fun.
