Title: Chilliwack River, September 16th 2010
Post by: vancook on September 17, 2010, 02:00:09 PM
I was out yesterday, very few anglers out. Fishing from the train bridge up past tamahi...nothing, didnt see any fish caught and didnt hear of any caught. Water is gin clear in the upper river...no fish to be sighted in the flow. still early for bigger numbers to arrive. Not sure of how anglers were doing in the canal, I really dislike fishing there...too many people

Fair enough, I'm still learning the river. I do more exploring than fishing some days.

Early season salmon travel fast, upper river and pocket water is where you find them when river is low. Tight line hope we all have a good season.
