Title: Chilliwack River, October 3rd 2010
Post by: BNF861 on October 03, 2010, 03:38:15 PM
Began the day at first light on the lower river. Water conditions were nice in my opinion. Clear but with a nice green color to it. Lots of people as expected, but not much action though where I was. Moved to a different part of the river. Less people and more room to move between runs. Saw lots of fish moving through. A friend lost a fish, then landed and released a fairly clean chum. Then it was my turn. Fairly light take close to shore, fish on! I could see it was silver as it flashed in the water, the size had me thinking chinook. Got a good look and realized it was a coho, and a hatchery coho at that. Weighed in at 15.25lbs, the biggest coho I have landed to date.

Nice work, I have never caught one that large on the Vedder.
