Well I just checked this weekends forcast and it does not look good.

Good thing my kid has football this weekend as I will not be missing much in the way of fishing.

Hilarious :D :D :D We can't even depend on tomorrow's forecast, let alone one out 3-6 days :o Here's a website I use http://www.accuweather.com/canada-weather-forecast.asp?partner=accuweather&myadc=0&traveler=0&postalcode=V2P%201A1 (http://www.accuweather.com/canada-weather-forecast.asp?partner=accuweather&myadc=0&traveler=0&postalcode=V2P%201A1) which predicts an entirely different tale ... you pick 'em ::) Experience tells me that weather patterns this time of year are very unpredictable, and believe it or not, when an appreciable amount of rain is forecast, it typically gets pushed back or simply fizzles out. I say local rivers will be quite fishable for most if not all the long weekend. Now, watch me eat my words ;D

LOL! I rarely trust a weather forecast that is more than 24 hours away. Any predictions more than 3 days are hearsay! Cool website though. I haven't seen that one, so thanks for posting.

I have the 18th to 22nd off of school. Should be perfect timing.
-
If I waited for perfect conditions at this time of year I would never do any fishing. [..at least during Salmon Season].
-
Heading out tomorrow morning, can't wait ;D

River full of fish but the trick is to make them bite.

In a scenario like this, would the Stave be a reasonable option, seeing as how the dam should keep the water levels regulated, and the lake above should keep the water visibility higher than otherwise?

Yes. I have found the Stave does not typically get muddied up as badly as other systems - just my experience having fished there for the past three seasons in all kinds of weather. [Planning to head out there myself in the hope of catching some chums - don't care if they are boots or not. As long as I am out there]
-
yes the vedder will be blown out... ::) ::) everyone head to the stave and have a chumtastic time...
-
im taking my gf and her son out the stave on saturday to teach him out to fish might be a gong show there any one know how the other rivers on that side of the fraser are doing we are going rain or shine hopefully shine but hopeing for rain might keep some people away hopefully

Some fishing reports have been moved to the fishing reports section in case you're wondering where the posts went.

It is Friday 4:30PM & Langley is still dry. Where is the 30-40mm rain predicted by the weatherman? ;D
Rain, rain, rain, please. :D
-
Oh yes You Will ;D ;D ;D
I need a break anyways. I have been fishing about 6 days a week for the last 4 weeks. ;D
-
THARR SHE BLOWS!!!
-
Rain just starting in Chilliwack.
-
Yup, drizzling at Vedder Crossing. No heavy rain here yet, but that may change real quick.
