Anyone make it up to the Squamish Valley today? Thinking of trying tomorrow; not sure of how much snow ended up on the ground.
-
They sort of missed what we got, very little snow from last nights fall. Driving conditions were clear but it was brutally cold with heavy winds.
-
very cold, lots of wind. No snow on the ground through the city area worth talking about.

Thanks!

Sunday
Cloudy. Clearing late in the afternoon. Wind northeast 40 to 60 km/h diminishing to 30 near noon. High minus 2. Wind chill minus 15 in the morning.
Sunday night
Cloudy periods. 30 percent chance of flurries overnight. Windy. Low minus 8. Wind chill minus 17.
I would think that you would be spending more time de-icing your guides than fishing even if you use paste. Also, don't drop your reel into the water!

Went out Sunday, figured I should report back.
No snow along the Squamish Main FSR, or the river. Roads bare. It was cold, especially in the morning, but OK if you're dressed for it.
Lots of guys out on the river that day.
