Title: CHILLIWACK RIVER FISHING EXPERIENCE

Well, I was out fishing on the lower Chilliwack River enjoying the beautiful sunny day and thinking that I might hook into an early run steelie.  I am waist deep in a perfect run anticipating the pounding strike of a flash of steel, when a powerful gust of wind hit me broadside spinning me around in the swirling water with my feet were flipped upwards to the sky and ..............................................................

While you were standing in the waist deep water the steelies were swimming past you in the knee deep water.........  ::)  :)

so true! it was a cold one today for sure but since the Thompson is closed I thought I'd head out and get cold, managed to hook 5 adults and 5 jacks but no steel

.....and then, I felt this fuzzy warm feeling across my neck and face...I reached out to feel what is was, and.............  I woke up and it was my cat curling up around my face!!  The covers were all wrapped around me and I was stressed out after my Winter Chilliwack River Dream/Night Mare......I lay in bed exhausted reliving my ordeal.

you just think that when one is near and your not catching them :D. i think the plunk of the weights hitting the water

I would have to say all the rippers and liners on the water whether they be fly or gear anglers.

Aliens had me hooked by the shoelaces with a BARBED Gammi and what looked like 12 lb test.  I knew I had lost weight but this is just insulting.. As I was being pulled upwards I looked down and saw that someone was busting into my pick-up through the back window....

I remembered that I used to use gear too, and my so called "God like status" , is nothing more than "comedy" to others, and need a reality check.  ;D  ;)
