Some of our urban 'development' is resulting in eyesores. There are many candidates and after considering Front Street in New Westminster, the south entrance along the old highway into Courtenay and others, my vote is for the Langley Bypass.
Your choices?

Scott road - Surrey and Delta sides a close second was downtown Chilliwack (Yale road?)

Well I don't know if I would agree that the Langley Bypass is the "ugliest" road, but I do think they need to rename the "bypass". This road is now the new center of Langley's commercial district and is so busy and congested that I frequently find myself bypassing the Bypass.

The stretch of road around Willingdon and Hastings Street in Burnaby..............
-
right now, the road work thats gone on hold off the no.3 exit going to yarrow. i nominate this the ugliest stretch because i travel it every day to and from work and it is beating the crap out of my suspension! i cant wait till they repave and all those damn bumps will be gone

I like hittin Starbucks on # 10 then doin 70+ clicks :-X through to Langley on the bypass :D .Rather than hittin Timmy Ho's on 64th through to Langley only doin maybe 40 clicks zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz . 8)

Yeah... Hastings around Army and Navy is pretty bad.
I use to go there to buy cheap Gammie hooks, but nowadays I don't think it is worth the hassle.

Knight street all the way to Marine Drive.
-
hey Nog, use to do that drive every week when i worked at the hatchery. i found it best to do it at dark because at least you could see the headlights comming.
-
There are NO ugly roads in BC just ugly stupid drivers. ;D They can make any piece of road ugly especially when you see the remains of their vehicles strewn along the road. The Hope Princeton AKA highway #3 is a fine road in winter, you just have to have common sense and a bit of driving ability. Two things that are in short supply in most drivers. ;D

Hate the S curve before the Alex Fraser Bridge & area....mainly the design & just later the "bad smells" that arise from the sewage plant "at times".
Also the tunnel is a dino :o ??? ;D....WE NEED A 6 LANE BRIDGE there instead...... keep the tunnel for Ladner residents travelling to Richmond visa versa.
(increase the litre of gas FOR ONE YR by 25cents to build the bridge............"just kidding folks" ...the firing squad can go home now ;D

King George - particularly through Whalley
