just wondering if anyone has personally seen a luna 203 in store? ive been to a few shops and cant find it, can only find it online and before making a purchase i would like to see a luna 203 and 253 side by side, ive seen the 253, every shop seems to have the 253 and the 300 but why wont stores carry the 203? any locations would be greatly appreciated

I haven't seen it locally either. I think the reel's line capacity puts it in a bit of an odd spot as most people will go for at least a 253 for salmon/steelhead, or go for a low profile model, which tends to be lighter. I own a 253L and now that I've seen the specs for a 203 I wish I had bought it instead since I share the opinion of a few that you don't need more than a 100yds of line when drift fishing (203 holds 150yds of 14lb line).
Anyway, good luck finding one, and if all else fails you can always get one online.
