Im looking at getting a fishing tattoo. Anyone have any good examples? It's so hard to decide.
Also, does any one know a tattoo artist around the lower mainland who's good with fish?
Thanks

my best suggestion is start by searching through artists portfolios online. you'll find each artist has their own distinct style and and skill. you'll see certain artists can do excellent traditional koi tattoos but when you see their realistic works they just don't seem as good. i recommend fleshworks in victoria, it is out of the mainland but derek does great work.

i have several tattoos...just remember it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks...it's very personal... and it's for life, so do what is meaningful to you...don't ever go generic!

This is a friend of mine, his name is Terry, and this is his shop. He does excellent work. ;)

i agree with k.c., i have seen a lot of good work come out of fun house. a lot of the artists will work with you and do some drawings from your ideas. bring them in some cool flies and see what they come up with.

Got my first tattoo done today!!! Everything went well and I'm pleased with the results. i got it done at Adrenaline in Vancouver and loved it.
Here's a pic of it right after it was finished... it doesn't do it justice but its the best i have so far.

Here's a pic of my half sleeve after the first 6 hour sitting about a year ago. The tattoo is finished now with the Sturgeon being filled in and more shading(another 2 hours work) but I haven't posted any other pics of it online yet. Dave Allen is the man if you want fishing tattoos.
