I have trouble telling the two apart (dolly varden and bull trout) but you do have one of the two, most likely a Bull Trout given its head and mouth ratio.
here is another chart you should familiarize yourself with

looks like it's maybe a sea-run bull trout?...i agree the absence of the spots threw me for a loop, but the mouth and head shape are pretty telling. I know some bullies do migrate to the sea. would this take away their trade mark spots and make them more crome-looking like this one?

Looks like a searun bull to me. Caught a lot of them years ago in the rivers around Knight inlet.

yup likes like a sea run bull trout to me aswell. some are starting to show up in the lower streches of the vedder.
i got one on the fraser that looked almost identical about a week ago, was about 5 lbs.
they give a prety good fight, and the chromeness make you think its a steely lol

definitely a sea run bull, seen a few like this in the squamish and cheakamus this season

Do sea run bull trout return to river to spawn like steelhead or just to feed on salmon/steelhead eggs and fry?
