Does anyone recall what the Freshet height at hope has to be to fish Spuzzum, Emory creek. I have a friend who was asking and I can't recall how high it has to be to back up the creeks ? Thanks

Ah....many good memories catching chinook with a float and roe in the creek mouths.
Unfortunately, with the demise of the early runs and 'most' years are now seeing lower and lower water levels by the time the mid summers come through....fishing the creek mouths is NOT what it used to be.
We're looking at a July 15th opening this year....but....the water may just stay high enough that spuzzum or yale creek might work out for you. It will depend on how many fish are coming through at that time, but mid July can be good sometimes.
If June gets hot weather and the snowpack goes....then it might not be too good.

Good advice Rob. Fishing Fraser creek/river mouths to me is always hit and miss. :'( It should be better.

Even in the muddy conditions? I may have to try that, I prefer to float fish rather than bottom bounce.

It's not muddy at the creek mouths. All that that other good advice aside, does anyone recall what the freshet height needs to be ?
