Title: Non-tidal Fraser River, August 19th 2011
Post by: calfisher on August 20, 2011, 08:50:03 PM
Out in the boat at 1:00 pm.  Saw one boat catching a few and moved to the bottom of the line.  The guy at the bottom was leaving and told us there weren't any fish moving through.  We anchored and on my second cast fish on!  My  fishin' partner hadn't rigged up yet.  15 minutes later I had my second in the boat.  Partner caught his 2 within 30 minutes.  All fish had the hook right in the top lip dead center.

Fish were constantly moving through.  Great day.

With all the fish being hooked dead center in the top of the snout it must have been the color of wool and length of leader you selected to "entice" them to bite.... Don't get me wrong I go get my sox but let's not pretend it's something it's not.  ::)

Oh yeah ;) I used  a bit of black green yellow blue white and every other color in the fishing store. Mine seem to be all hooked right in the corner. :o ::)
