Title: What to catch (besides crabs) off jerich beach in winter

I unfortunatly do not have my drivers liscence yet and do not live near any good steelhead rivers, i want to try fishing off the pier at jericho beach in the next few weeks, is their anything worth catching there on rod and reel this time of year?

a cold? ;)    Is that pier still there?  I'd imagine you can easily catch flounder, bullheads, and I heard there are quite a few dogfish as well.
