Title: how do you store your jigs?
Post by: DRP79 on January 04, 2012, 08:47:02 PM
I am going to just tie 2-3 onto a leader board as it makes sense but is there anything else that you guys use to store jigs? I saw a YouTube video of a guy setting up his rig and he had what looked like a zippered case that had to hold 50 or more. Do fly cases come big enough for this?

A fly box is ample. I usually just carry it in the big side pocket of my vest and it fits perfectly, is out of the way and is just an overall great way to store them.

Cheers

I use a small zip-lock bag and put them in their own pocket in my vanny/chest pack. After I use one I just hook it on my hat and just keep on fishing.

X2 for the fly box.  You can find ones big enough to hold 20+ jigs in it.

I carry a small storage box that has 12 slots - I leave it open when I get home to allow the jigs to dry out properly.

fly box is the way I roll, in the past I have kept them in individual bags in a pouch in my side bag.
