Title: Chilliwack River, September 25th 2013
Post by: dave c on September 26, 2013, 05:00:07 AM
Arrived at dawn, knew the spot we were going to would eventually fill up with fishermen so we decided to fish the south side of the river. Good call. For the next three hours we caught spring after spring, all chrome, a dozen in all.  The guys on the other bank got nothing but pinks.  They would try casting to our side but couldn't manage to stay in the right seam for very long.(shame). Heading out again this morning and expect to have some company. Springs hammering everything roe, jigs, spinners, awesome day.

Have the similar  experience the same day fishing upper river. Only springs were in "good for smoker shape". All males and all on roe. All fish released.

[/quote The majority of ours were does. Of the two we bonked one was white one was marble. Saw a few coho mixed in with pinks travelling up the shallows.
