Title: Tidal Fraser River, October 4th 2013
Post by: Hoop71 on October 04, 2013, 11:54:27 PM
Stopped by Garry Point Park this afternoon from about 1300-1600. Was targeting bull trout in the small bays there but ended up hooking into 2 cohos (1st on very first cast)on a #3 spinner.

Unfortunately did not land either as I only has my ultralight spinning rod with 4lb test. Managed to get them to the rocks but both spit the hook before I could land them.

Still tonnes of fun ;D

I was the only one there for the 3hrs I was there.

I've had success using the Blue Foxes in silver on silver and silver on chartreuse.  Nice to hear you got such a nice surprise!
