With a rare Sunday morning free of marital/ parental duties, I decided to head down to the South arm just to check it out and also to see if my old roe was still viable. One big bull trout and about an 8" bull head was all that came to hand. Switched to a Croc once the tide started to move and was chased down by a sizable salmon. Couldn't get a good look but the sheer size sure got me pumped! Unfortunately, that would be it for this AM.

Got a beautiful hatchery doe first thing this morning on a homemade chartreuse yellow (with green tip on the blade) and silver body. She was probably a solid 7 or 8lbs and put up an awesome fight with at least 6 or 7 jumps/flips - took forever for her to go on her side. That was all the action we had. What an awesome day after getting skunked yesterday. Just love how red coho meat is:

Fished this afternoon at caught a tiny sculpin on 4th cast. Nothing for a few hours, then my bro hooked a 12 inch HERRING!!!
