Title: Sea bass fishing

Hey folks, just new to this forum , my passion is fishing since my childhood, I am wondering if anybody tried fishing for sea bass around Vancouver shoreline, brought lots of tackles Back home I used to fish with for sea bass, is there any location to target these beauty fish along the cost as fishing from shore , any info would be appreciated, thank you.

Sea bass, aka black rockfish, are closed for fishing (including catch and release) in many areas along the BC coast, including the Vancouver shorelines.

No Sea bass here some people called Black Rockfish (sebastes melanops) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_rockfish) Sea bass but they aren't.
