Only Pike you might find in mill lake is the one used on the battlefield.

If its Mill Lake in Abbotsford then all I can say is it has been slow with only three trout for me on one of my three last outings in the past 5 weeks. Weather was too wet for me to get out there more often.

I gave it my best and could only get action on the troll with an ugly #12 grey dubbed wooly bugger with natural grizzly hackle and black tail.

Lol says the only guy to see an Esox in Mill.

Anyway patterns I would try would be Pumpkinheads, and Vampire leeches.  these are pretty much my go to lake patterns.

Question was if anyone has had any luck there lately. Did you actually have recent luck with Pumkinheads and Vampire leeches since the weather has turned poor and cold?

Recent as in two weeks ago.

The most important factors in fishing are as follows:
Depth
Presentation
Fly/bait/lure etc...

Before you start tinkering with the fly, play with your depth, then your presentation through those depths.  If that doesn't work, then try a change in fly.

However I usually recommend a fly before the others  as those specific patterns are ones I personally have confidence in.
