Title: drying waders
Post by: FlyNut on July 13, 2004, 01:15:36 PM
What is the best way to dry waders.

After a lot of thinking :o  I settled on sticking a couple of kid's "swimming noodles"  (cheap) into the legs, and propping the waders upside down. ;D ;D

Insert a coffee can into both legs. (After removing the lids at either end). This will allow proper circulation. Alternatively you can use a hair dryer.

F.Assasin, coffee can is a good idea.   Still have to prop them up somehow-- don't want to hang them from a hanger.

Fulcurm, I did not get water inside, but I did wash the inside (as my feet were sweating, and I figured it will start smelling soon).  Breathable waders.

Man, just hang your waders on your balcony or somewhere they can hang....it dries perfectly well  ;) :D

Usually I dry them on one side for one day, and then turn inside-out to dry for one more day. After 4-5 trips I also wash them with soap and brush before drying.
