going up to loon lake on may 14. don't have much experience in trolling for trout. have done weaver lake and Chehalis lake with some success. caught on fish on each lake. planning on trolling wedding bands and bringing one fly rod. in summer, temperature is high, so deep down is apparently your best bet. full sinking line on the fly rod. now in may the temperature is colder down and warmer on top of the lake ? should we be trolling closer to the surface at that time of the year ? any suggestions would be appreciated. we are gonna be staying at the marigold resort. thanks

I have fished this lake a lot and sometimes they are on the top and hit flys and the next day they are on the bottom. Bring what you have... if it dosent work switch them up..
