Title: Ambleside tide height question...

Been a while since I gave it a go. I forget what tide height make the sandbar wade accessible. Anybody recall?

Depending on your height, it's usually 4 feet and lower.

That does seem like fun...but I'd still like to know what the tide charts indicate....

I've done it a couple of times and the window is pretty short for when the bar is accessible - a couple hours tops.

Fishing seems to favour fly fishers and guys with specially designed spinners.
