thanks Nog.  This is a key to protecting future salmon. I am surprised at the slow uptake by fishermen.  Is there any letters to decision makers that we can sign?

Dependent upon the new minister's response, we may engage in another letter campaign.
Letcha know as it goes...

Thanks Nog for this new perspective. I haven't thought about salmon conservation from this angle.

Next weekly bump...

We pulled out all of the stops when it came to quality for these. In fact at the price point of them, there is virtually no "profit margin" after the costs of production and handling are addressed. Several on other Forums have noted the quality in their posts after they received their orders.

Cheers

Is there no commercial fishery for Seals? I thought it would be lucrative considering seal oil is a delicacy in Alaska and the other uses for fur or their meat/blubber.

The proposal submitted to DFO was for a harvest, NOT a cull.
Markets have been determined for the meat, the fats and the hides.

Pre Christmas Bump...
