Title: POLL: How's your salmon season been so far on the Vedder?
Post by: dennisK on October 02, 2022, 04:19:21 PM
Hey all. Hope I don't mess up the other thread but I thought it would be relevant to have an armchair poll on how everyone's' been doing so far.

Mine's actually below average so far. Maybe the lack of rain. Maybe I suck lol.

I have had good success compared to last year, but I have very little experience, so im still learning.... My good success rate could be considered as someone else's below avg success

So far I have had or harvested 3 red springs, 4 sockeye, 2 white springs and 2 coho, released all wild coho and some white springs and chum

I've had a great season so far. Found a couple little sweet spots, but I was all set to do some jigging for coho but conditions have prevented it. Rain will make everything better.
