Recipe
Hook:1/0 Talon Salmon 1XStrong
Thread: Uni-black 6/0
Orange/Red Bucktail
Orange/Red Krystal Flash
Lower Body: Dubbed with Seal Fur
Upper Body:Seal Fur
Mid/Top Wing:Golden Pheasant Tippet
Hackle: Red/Orange
Tying Instructions
1. Tie in the tail with Bucktail and Krystal Flash.
2. Dub the tail and 1/3 of the body with seal fur.
3. Tie in the Pheasant Tippet.
4. Tie in the Hackle.
5. Dub Seal Fur to the eye.
6. Now take the hackle and wrap it to the eye of the hook.
7. Lastly tie in the Top Wing with more Pheasant Tippet.
With some practise you will have one of the best Steelhead Patterns in your box!
