Post by: The Gilly on January 21, 2005, 02:10:19 PM
I was out in the "Wack" today and took a detour to see what the river looked like.

(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v399/striper/AllisonPool.jpg) Allison Pool
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v399/striper/Willows.jpg) The Willows
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v399/striper/Boundary.jpg) Boundary Hole

By the looks of the errosion at Boundary Hole I would guess that the water has dropped close to 3ft. at that point. The river looks to be a long way before flood stage this morning. About 4" of visibility for those of you that are going to go out this weekend.

Thanks gilley, greatly appreciated. Makes me feel kind of home-sick looking at all those spots on the river that bring with it warm memories
of good times gone by. Boo hoooo. ::)

F.A., I guess Cammer is after today's water condition, given that those pictures were from yesterday. From the look of the pictures, if it does not rain again or getting a bit colder, the upper river should be fishable in a day or two. It looks muddy, but not really that high (see, the wash-out area is not under water yet).

Given the rain we had overnight and today I doubt the Vedder would have come down.
