Hey guys,
well I've finally made my report from the aloutte. I might only get once chance at fishing in Canada this year since I'm now living in Japan.
If you guys don't mind I made my report here in my forum so just check out the write up there!!!

Nice pics, and it sounds like "Dave" has got the touch!

Thanks Fisherking quite a nice report and as DS said, it looks like your friend Dave had the touch. I love fishing the Allouette and in fact have fished that exact spot where you guys were at as I recognize a few landmarks. Thanks again for the follow-up report.

Those photos are nice Nigel! I especially like the one where the angler is in the background with all the dead salmon in front of him as he walks away. Well done. :)

yeah maybe next time I'll try to get out and actually fish with some of you guys. I met one guy from our board here named Matt. They were a bunch of nice one guys trying their hand for some cutties.
Overall I had a great time fishing even though I only got one day in. I think that's why I took so many good pics, I felt like a tourist fishing in BC.
Take care and maybe I'll be back this August for salmon fishing. I'm trying to organize some Japanese anglers to fish in BC at that time.

Great report and pics Nigelman.
Those salmon carcasses will sure feed a lot of insects which will then feed the next generation of salmon fry.

I remember 5 years ago I would only see a couple here and there (carcasses) but this year there was soooo many laying around the shore line. My friend was saying his line would just be covered in fish slime in November making trout fishing very difficult. Now that's great to see!!!
